What is gobstopper?
Gobstopper Gallery is an online artist-run platform presenting works from some of the most exciting contemporary artists from across the world. While focusing on providing a level of visibility for emerging artists, our exhibitions and social media page aim to meld together artists at all professional levels of their career to help bring a universal conflation of many talented creatives.
Gobstopper Gallery was started by Philadelphia based artist, Nicholas Burns in January 2020 as an alternative way to view art and support artists during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Nicholas is a visual artist and curator living on the Philly outskirts.
He holds a BFA in Fine Arts from West Chester University graduating in 2015. He was involved in co-curating an Alumni Show at his Alma Mater in 2019 which is based on a poem he wrote titled, Inside the Bug Jar. His work has been collected across the United States, and internationally, in England, France, and Australia.
